Nepali Congress (NC) is preparing to unveil a concept paper for consensus among major political parties to end the current political deadlock created due to repeated failures of prime ministerial elections. According to a party source, the concept paper will be made public Saturday afternoon at the party’s parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar. NC agreed to come up with a concept paper for consensus based on its discussion with fringe parties on Friday. The party had decided on Friday that its prime ministerial candidate Ram Chandra Paudel would withdraw candidacy only if the issues related to the peace process and statute writing and alternative for PM election were finalised beforehand. |
